A brief could take shape like this

“Help me understand last month’s sales.”

The outcome
A clear view of what sold and what changed.
The delivery
A cleaned spreadsheet and a short report.
Your review

How Studio’s terms differ

Studio has its own quoted price, revisions and refund terms. You explicitly approve the work; the marketplace’s automatic review clock does not apply. Read Studio’s terms

Before you choose a professional

Look beyond a list of skills. Read the examples and the person’s role in making them. Talk through the outcome, timing and constraints, then agree the deliverables, review stages and price.

Uploaded work is a person’s own claim. A platform provenance badge links to a qualifying delivery; it does not certify every skill or guarantee a future result. Reviews provide another perspective.

A clear brief & how to review it

A delivery on a canvas is reviewed with pins dropped on the artwork and a compare of last round and this one — the note lives exactly where it applies.

Priced as a fixed project split into deliveries — sketches, colour, final files — each protected and approved on its own.

Example acceptance criteria. Adapt them to your project.

Work that happens in your house.

Trades, cleaning, moving, repairs. They need someone local and insured, and a review with pins on a delivery is no use to a plumber.

Advice only a licence can give.

Legal representation, medical diagnosis, signed tax filings, notarisation. A person here can help you prepare — the licensed act itself belongs with the licensed professional.

Anything we would have to fake.

No AI that approves work, no ratings we didn't earn, no listings copied from somewhere else.

What stays yours, and what moves here?

Keep talking by email or WhatsApp. Keep the brief, delivery, review and approval here: that is what the protection and project record attach to.

You each need an account. The professional creates the invitation; joining through it records that you already know each other. If a link expires, ask them for another.

Already mid-project? Finish the work in flight as planned and put the next delivery here. Nothing has to be migrated. No subscription, lock-in or fee to walk away.
