How it works
Find each other.
Make the next step clear.
A conversation becomes an agreement. The work, feedback and decisions stay together, so you both know where things stand.
Current availability: live payments are not enabled. The payment steps below describe the simulated workflow; no real money is collected or protected yet.
01 / A shared starting point
Get discovered, or start the conversation yourself
Clients find you through Explore, message you directly, or accept your proposal on a job post. Selling a packaged offer? List a gig at a fixed price and skip the back-and-forth entirely.
Agree the scope, together
You define deliverables and acceptance criteria with the client, right in the chat — the same brief a delivery gets reviewed against later, so there’s no ambiguity about what ’done’ means.
How it goes
02 / The work in progress
Money is protected before you start
The client pays into protection before work begins. It’s not a promise or an invoice — it’s held, visible to you both, and can’t quietly disappear.
Deliver, and start the clock
Submit your delivery and a visible auto-approve window starts. The client can approve early, ask for changes, or — if the window lapses — the delivery approves and you get paid automatically.
Silence never strands you: no response, and on day 14 the payment still moves.
How it goes
03 / A clear finish
Get paid, minus one visible fee
Approval — yours or the clock’s — moves the money to you at once, minus Actuallize’s one fee, shown before anyone clicks Pay. No invoicing, no chasing.
How it goes
One visible fee, never a surprise
Actuallize takes one fee on the work you get paid for — 1% the first time you work with a client, 0.5% every time after, shown on every payment card before you ever click Pay. Reimbursed expenses carry no fee.
